Pensacola-class Starbase Concept

 A really, really rough run at the the Portsmouth, which for those of who who have been reading my Fan Fiction, will recognize.

 An evolution of the design that appeared in ST: Beyond, I learned two things from this drawing: 1) Drawing really big objects with a lot of details is hard to do on a very small piece of paper, 2) I have so much to learn. I am really in over my head for designing this thing. I don't know how the Yorktown was designed, but wow, and 3) I used the wrong pen for this sketch. Couldn't even shade with it!

 But yes, Portsmouth and huge, and indeed could house a Star Destroyer or equivalent, is well armed with pulse phasers, torpedo launchers, and phaser arrays. The former two of which are retracted when not in use.

 Just as I only have a small idea of how to do this concept justice, I've only covered a small fraction of the different aspects of the Portsmouth.

 Honesty, it's so rough, I don't even know if it belongs in featured. Definitely not my best work, and doesn't show off my skills, and unlike a certain Idiot in Chief, I'm not afraid to admit that in this case, I was way over my head!
