Trident Concept 1

 My first automotive design (well, at least what I've posted anyways). The idea originally started as a modernized take on back when the hood and front wheels and headlights were separate, as opposed to being integrated, but evolved in translation into the Mark 4 (or was it 5?) like Speed Racer nose you see here. As for the name: kind of came up with on a whimsy, and owes its nomenclature to that triple nose.

 Other distinctive elements I wanted was the aggressive wheel arches, and the integrated spoiler, similar to the Camaro from two generations ago and the original Acura NSX, as well as the integrating the boat tail trunk with the aggressively pronounced wheel arches, which unfortunately was hard to me to get down on (digital) paper. Another detail I had a hard time translating was a design feature for where the tail lights meet in the middle, which curve a bit outward where the center of the boat tail is.

 I do like how the rear end looks like an Italian sports car, like an Alfa Romeo. Given the fact that I like cut-off, blunt ends, I see that as a success.

 The specifics of power source are vague. Could be a mid-engined internal combustion (rear-engined four door supercar, something I'd love to see), or preferably, Hydrogen Fuel Cell or Electric. Preferably, the vents in the back are functional, and dump excess heat out the back. But since I'm no engineer, I have no idea if they could actually function!
